Food Items Needed For Fun Fair
There are three opportunities to contribute food for Fun Fair: via the Cafe, Baked Goods donations, or the Cake Walk. See details for each below…
Fun Fair Café
The food operations for the Fair, better known as the Fun Fair Café, significantly contributes to the overall success of the CSS Fun Fair. How? All proceeds generated from food sales during Fun Fair are given to the CSS PTO. These funds are then used throughout the year to enhance and enrich the experiences of our children at Cottage Street School.
Our goal is to exceed our success of past years! We need your help! To make the Fun Fair Café a success, we rely heavily on the donations of food and supplies from our Cottage families. This allows the Café to minimize its expenses and maximize its contributions back to the PTO/School.
Step 1 – Sign up to donate.
We are using Signup Genius to request donations. We have tried to assign the older children the heavier items, and the younger kids the lighter items.

Step 2 – Bring your donations to school at the appropriate time.
Based on the dates below, please bring your food donations into school and place in the bins located across from the office that will be labeled – FUN FAIR CAFÉ DONATIONS:
- Non-Perishables – Between Monday, March 7 – Friday, March 18
- Perishables – Between Thursday, March 17 – Friday, March 18
Financial contributions also welcome!
Again, the Fun Fair Café is not possible without your food donations. Thank you! In lieu of food items, financial contributions are also welcome: cash or checks payable to “CSS PTO”.

Baked Goods
Apart from the Café, you can also sign up to donate Baked Goods to be sold at Fun Fair (brownies, blondies, cupcakes, cookies or muffins). See the Sign Up Genius page above for details on quantities, packaging, and timing!
125 Cake Walk Cakes Needed
Finally, we need 125 cakes as prizes for the Cake Walk – a musical game of chance. To donate a cake or complete the information requested in the Cake Walk Flyer, or contact Lakshmi Jayaraman with questions.
