Birthday Books is Now Celebration Books (and Online!)

Birthday Books had a face lift! The program is now called Celebration Books.

Birthday Books was a great way to teach our children about GIVING on their birthday. The kids picked out a book, dedicated it to someone special, and gave it to the CSS library for everyone to enjoy.

Celebration Books is that and MORE! Family members can now dedicate a book to a child for any occasion…

• Did they lose their first tooth?
• Are they a new big brother or sister?
• Commemorate whatever occasion is special to your family!
• And, of course, you can still encourage your child to give a book on their birthday.

We are also now offering an online version of Celebration Books, in which you buy the book directly from the same publisher our librarian uses! The dedication is then actually engraved into the book by the publisher and sent directly to the school for your child to see.

For those who have already sent in their Birthday Books dedications this year, you may request to have your money returned to you if you decide to use the online option instead. Simply contact Wendy MacArthur if you would like to change your Birthday Books order or have any questions about Celebration Books.
