Hijab Day Celebration

Join alls SPS PTOs to celebrate and learn more about the girls and women who choose to wear hijab in our community. The Zoom meeting will include book reading, presentation from a high school student, Q&A session, and art contest kick-off.The Zoom meeting agenda is:

7:30 – 8:00: Grades K-5 – Reading “The Proudest Blue” written by Ibtihaj Muhammed + Discussion

8:00 – 9:00: Grades 6-12 – Presentation on the history of the Hijab + Q&A and the art contest kick off
