CSS Fun Fair—our all-school party on March 25!
It’s almost time for our annual Fun Fair! Fun Fair is a Cottage tradition and the largest fundraiser of the year for the CSS PTO. It is a big carnival for the whole school community with game booths, raffles, café, cake walk, general store, book store, prizes, concessions, arts & crafts, and photo booth.
Save the Date: Fun Fair will take place on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Get involved in Fun Fair by:
- Volunteering to work at the Fair, in any capacity (Download the Volunteer Form PDF)
- Organizing a raffle collection or asking a local business to donate an item or gift certificate (Download the Raffle Form PDF)
- Baking a cake for the cake walk, our musical game of chance (Download the Cake Walk Flyer PDF)
- Donating gently used children’s books, DVD and CDs and adult paperback and hardcover books (Download the Book Sale Flyer PDF)
- Donating new and unused items to the General Store. Clean out those closets and recycle unwanted gifts! (Download the General Store Flyer PDF)
Proceeds from Fun Fair are used to enrich the education and overall experience for our children at CSS. In past years, the PTO has used these funds to provide for the stage project, outdoor classroom, art courtyard, and major technology purchases. Additionally, about $9,000 of the proceeds are used annually for programming, which includes visits from the Museum of Science, the Aquarium, authors, and numerous fieldtrips. None of these enhancements would be possible without our Fun Fair being such a huge success.
